Thursday 7th May

7:00pm - 11:00pm
Temperance (Nadav Tabak)
33 Bath Street, Leamington Spa CV31 3AF

One half of the incredible Opal Ocean, Nadav is back at Temperance, with his innovative solo show! Free show, generous donations much appreciated!

If you were one of the lucky ones who came to see Opal Ocean in March, you know you are in for a treat! Nadav, is back on this solo tour, with probably the most innovative show you will have seen. Every show is different with audience interaction and improvisation. Expect the unexpected!

Nadav Tabak is a passionate guitarist and composer who first gained recognition as part of the duo Opal Ocean before embarking on his own solo musical journey. Through intense and sensitive performances, he takes his audience on a journey into a rich and deeply personal sound universe.

His music explores a wide range of styles, blending acoustic psy-trance, exotic melodies, tribal rhythms, and Spanish rumba guitar techniques. Using only a looping pedal and an experimental approach, Nadav creates improvised pieces that incorporate a variety of instruments, textures, and cultural influences.

As a solo artist, he captivates diverse audiences through his performances at festivals and concerts, sharing the stage with renowned artists (Manu Chao, Highlight Tribe, Rootsriders and Delgres)

Free entry (register so we know you are coming). Generous collection at the end for the musicians very much appreciated.

Warwick Arts Centre - Steeleye Span
University of Warwick Coventry CV4 7FD

Tickets: £37 incl booking fee (concessions)

Together for 57 years now, Steeleye Span changed the face of folk music forever by taking it into the world of gold discs and international tours.

Now they return with Conflict, their first full studio album in over five years. All traditional singers have sung modern and self-composed pieces alongside old songs, Conflict is an album that follows in that very tradition. The album’s title was chosen as much to reflect the times we find ourselves in, but also the stretch and tear of our relationship with this planet that hosts us.

As ever - and with such a rich history to choose from - the night will offer a selection of songs from across the years and firm fan favourites.

8:00pm - 11:00pm
Southbound Café-Bar (Ray Cashman)
Railway Arch, 12 Neilston Street, Leamington CV31 2AZ

Mississippi singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ray Cashman has spent more than three decades crafting his own brand of raw, blues-driven American roots music. With a powerful voice, masterful finger picking, amplified foot percussion, and storytelling steeped in the Southern tradition, Cashman’s songs bridge the gap between front-porch authenticity and modern grit.

For the last 15 years, Cashman has toured Western Europe annually, building a loyal audience and earning a reputation as a captivating live performer. His shows balance hard-hitting, original blues-oriented songs with the kind of fiery musicianship that comes only from a lifetime on the road.

Beyond the stage, Cashman’s music has reached international audiences through television and motion picture placements, bringing his distinctive sound to screens worldwide. His discography reflects a dedication to songwriting and performance that is both timeless and relevant, showcasing the evolution of an artist deeply rooted in tradition yet unafraid to carve new paths.

With a career that has taken him across the United States and around the globe, Cashman continues to push forward, seeking new audiences and new opportunities for collaboration in Europe and beyond. Whether in an intimate club, a festival stage, or a packed theater, he delivers songs that resonate—music born of experience, soul, and an unshakable connection to the blues.

PHOTOS: We take photos at the singarounds to help advertise the club, but totally understand that not everyone likes having their photo taken. We will attempt to ask at the start of the evening, but if we forget please tell us and we will not take your photo - we want everyone to feel welcome, included and safe.

COLLECTIONS: The singarounds will remain free, however we will put a collection jug on the central table every week. Please don't feel that you have to give every time, but even a few pounds a month will help us to book some bigger guests* If there is a guest or showcase night please try to give paper money only - we want to make sure that featured artists get at least some petrol money.
