We will be taking bookings for all Guest Nights for Spring 2025 from Saturday 2nd January. As seats are limited at both Guest Night venues, it is recommended that you book early in advance to avoid disappointment. We don't issue tickets as such but, if you have made a reservation, your name(s) will be on the list at the door.
We have not yet decided on a Ticketing Agency so, for the time being, bookings for Guest Nights and floor spots at Performers' Nights will continue to be made by email.
However, to secure your place(s) for certain Guest Nights, we are asking for payment to be made in advance by BACS. This decision was made by the WFC Team because, throughout 2025, we had a number of no-shows for Guest Nights.
If you book and pay for Guest Nights in advance but are ultimately unable to go we will do our best to re-sell your place from the waiting list, if there is one. BACS details are:A/C Name: Warwick Folk Club
Sort Code: 20 57 44
A/C Number: 23057348
Please show your name on the payment and use the BACS reference shown against each guest and confirm back by email that you have paid by BACS, so that we can keep a note of it.
For this show, payment can be made in advance by BACS showing reference "WFC EH". Or you can pay at the door in cash or card if spaces are available.

So, what is it that makes this internationally touring pair so irresistible? Whilst Paul Walker & Karen Pfeiffer are acclaimed for their image provoking song-writing, expressive vocals and authentic musicianship, they are frequently recalled for their warmth, humour and their remarkable ability to engage with their audience. Karen’s natural theatricality and life affirming playful energy compliment charmingly with Paul’s calm geniality and combined they magically turn a great performance into a real event.
The duo has toured its shows extensively taking in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Ireland and most corners of the UK, wooing audiences with Karen’s southern German accent tinged with an ‘oatcake induced’ North Staffordshire dialect from Paul’s heritage.
The pandemic has seen them focusing their attention on writing, recording and developing their online presence. Their live stream ‘Afternoon Tea with Paul & Karen’ is now in excess of 100 shows and still attracts a dedicated international following. The new album ‘Auf Wiedersehen, Me Duck’ was released in May 2022 and received a great amount of radio play, video attention and glowing reviews.

Indie-folk powerhouse Jenny Colquitt returns to Temperance for her first headline show, expect an intimate and captivating acoustic set.
Jenny Colquitt supported the amazing Daisy Chute at Temperance in 2025, and we instantly fell in love with her. She delivers unforgettable songs with power, conviction and rare emotional depth, pairing an immense voice with storytelling that feels both cinematic and deeply intimate. Whether on keys or guitar, she captivates with humour, heart and sheer musicality - qualities that won over the entire room that night and continue to make her one of the most compelling artists on the UK scene. We are excited to have her back for a headline gig.
More about Jenny Colquitt
Named as one of RnR Magazines 'Ones to watch', powerhouse artist Jenny Colquitt encompasses a unique combination of Indie folk, rock and pop. Winner of the 2021/2022 FATEA 'Female artist of the Year' award and the 2020/2021 GSMC Award for best female solo singer/songwriter, Jenny's music is described as fit for film and storytelling at its finest. A voice that uniquely combines the melodic undertones of artists such as Eva Cassidy and the rawness of Alanis Morissette. She writes with soul, lyrical vulnerability and style to accompany her musicality both through keys and guitar.
Jenny released her second studio album ‘Staring at the Moon’ in May 2024 which was followed by a largely successful UK Tour. The album received critical acclaim among media peers and was described as showcasing ‘immense vocal abilities which range from a soft and melancholy mood through to an epic and powerhouse delivery’ by Louder than War and ‘as good as an album gets’ by Lazland.
Her debut album 'Something Beautiful' was released in November 2021. Described as 'very much recommended, for her strong and expressive voice, impactful lyrics and winning melodies' by BBC Radio 2's Paul Sexton, the release has gained her credibility among peers and was listed as one of 2021's most enjoyable albums by Three Chords and the truth UK. She earned her spot at many notable festivals including Glastonbury, Cornbury, Cambridge Folk and Beardy Folk. As well as this Jenny was nominated for 'Female Artist of the Year' in the 2021/2022 Radio Wigwam and GSMC awards as well as voted as the winner of FATEA 'Female Artist of The Year' on the back of the album. Her follow up EP 'Lost Animals' was released in February 2023, it was described as an 'irresistible force to be reckoned with' by Louder Than War. Jenny has made a mark on her growing presence in UK Music.
Jenny made her debut track release in 2016 with her E.P. 'The Quiet Kind', describing through song the journey of becoming a young adult and all it entails, love, questioning and self-discovery. The EP kickstarted her career landing her tour dates with the likes of The Christians and folk power house band Merry Hell.
Her next release came in the middle of the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic following a sharp increase in her online following through live-streaming. She released 'Dear Daughter' in November of that year. She self-describes this E.P as a description of her journey finding a more strong willed, self confident individual with a lot to teach the younger generation. Her song 'Tell Me Where The Light Is' was chosen to be featured on folk magazine FATEA's Showcase Sessions in Summer 2021, a body of the years most notable work. She also went on to win best female solo singer/songwriter in the Graham Steel Music Company Awards that year.
Temperance favourites The Swaps (James & Beth) will be there to kick off the evening with an exclusive acoustic set.

New album fundraiser!
Tobias ben Jacob is another of our favourite musicians. He first performed here as Jacob and Drinkwater as long ago as 2019, their first of three visits. Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting him seven times, including his interpretation of artists such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Crowded House. A wonderful singer, a great guitarist and the loveliest guy you will ever meet. The perfect artist for our intimate venue.
We are excited to announce that he will be returning to perform for us again on Friday 20th February. This time, he will be raising money towards recording his brand-new album of original music. Even better, he will be joined on double-bass by Leamington legend John Parker (ex Nizlopi) and Joseph O'Keefe on violin and accordion.
All seven of his shows here last year sold out, and we are really hoping to get another full-house in. This promised to be a very special evening indeed. Every penny of your ticket money goes towards his new album. We are so grateful for all your support.

Southbound Café-Bar
(Greg Holt + The Crossroads Kings)
Railway Arch, 12 Neilston Street, Leamington CV31 2AZ
Free admission
We are thrilled to have Blues Hall of Fame inductee Greg Holt playing at Southbound. Greg is a multi-instrumentalist based in New Orleans but is best known for his blues fiddle playing. The list of great musicians he has played with is too extensive to mention them all here, but it is enough for us that Dickey Betts is among them.
Greg tours the US with his trio playing high-energy Cajun, bluegrass, and country blues music, including Cajun versions of songs by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, and other greats, along with their own originals. The Crossroads for his Southbound appearance feature, aptly, the Crossroad Kings (Chris Gibbons, Pete Stanton, Jacob Darts and Dave Male).
