After a summer of festival performances including Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Off The Rails Festival and Costa Festival, Portugal, on 20.09.24. the band released their third studio album: “GOOD LUCK SHOES”. The album features ten new songs spotlighting tales of the wary, the hopeful, the loved and the lovable; the wild and the lost, the unhinged and the crossed. The fixed up, the torn down, the hoe-downs and throw downs, topped by the musings of a deliriously optimistic psychopath with a death wish.

“GOOD LUCK SHOES” was selected as “Editor’s Choice” by the British Country Music Association, was album of the week on British Country Music Radio and has already received some great reviews:

With exceptional musicianship and boundless energy, Granny’s Attic are going from strength to strength. Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon, anglo concertina, vocals), George Sansome (guitar, vocals) and Lewis Wood (violin, vocals) have honed their skills touring the UK and Europe since 2009. They are much loved by audiences up and down the country, with bookings everywhere from Cambridge Folk Festival to Cecil Sharp House.

The trio have been heralded for their lively performances and skilled delivery of traditional material, playing with verve, energy and their own inimitable style. Though grounded in tradition, they are keen to push new boundaries by exploring fresh approaches and writing their own compositions. In October 2021, they released The Brickfields, an instrumental collection that saw them reach new heights as both composers and performers. This was followed up in 2025 by Cold Blows the Wind, an album of largely traditional material which went down a storm with reviewers and audiences alike.

Described by KLOF Magazine as “one of the most exciting and accomplished English folk acts on the scene right now”, this outstanding trio can hold audiences in the palm of their hand.

The Last Waltz with WLDFLWRS + guests

A Celebration Of The Last Waltz performed by WLDFLWRS

On the 25th November 1976, The Band played the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco in what would be their final concert with their original members. They invited some very special guests to join them, the show was recorded by Martin Scorsese and became the now legendary Last Waltz concert. Regarded by many as the greatest music film of all time.

On Friday 17th April 2026, WLDFLWRS will be bringing the Winterland Ballroom to Rother Street , celebrating the music of the Last Waltz and the songs of the Band. The night will feature WLDFLWRS and some very, very special guests including Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Neil Ivison (Ginger Wildheart and the Sinners), Stephen Steinhaus, Chessi O’ Dowd and many more TBC.

This will be an incredible night of music and one not to miss!

WLDFLWRS are Jack Blackman, Wes Finch, Chris Quirk and Jono Wright. Despite emerging from rural Warwickshire you could be mistaken for thinking they come from 70s Laurel Canyon with their sun drenched harmonies and alt country stylings. Whilst respectfully acknowledging the direction of their forebears, they offer their own distinctive and compelling new sound.

We are counting the days until the wonderful Hollie Rogers returns to perform for us on Saturday 18th April. She has played Temperance many times, with the likes of Chris Difford, Ed Blunt and Daisy Chute. She has even released a ‘Live from Temperance’ album from her first visit in 2022.

We guarantee this will be another very special evening and we are ready to add those two magic words ‘sold out’ to her poster. Just a very small number of tickets left. Some of the finest artists in the country are beating a path to our door. See you there, if not before!

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Joan Armatrading and Blondie, she crafts songs that blend emotional depth with an unmistakably playful charm.

Her live performances are widely praised for their honesty, warmth and wit, and she has become known for shows that move effortlessly between heartfelt storytelling and moments of disarming humour.

A seasoned performer, Hollie is no stranger to major festival stages including Glastonbury, and she has opened for celebrated artists such as KT Tunstall, Paolo Nutini and Suzanne Vega. Her music enjoys global exposure with tracks playlisted in every Café Nero store worldwide, introducing her distinctive sound to audiences far beyond the UK’s live circuit.

Engineered by five-time Grammy-nominated producer James McMillan, the album features collaborations with renowned songwriters Beth Nielsen-Chapman and Elles Bailey, and a track with The Budapest Symphony Orchestra, marking an exciting new chapter in Hollie's career.
